– Who can do yoga?
The well-being of our students is our priority. Iyengar® yoga is gradual and safe, allowing you to achieve results you never thought possible, thanks to a method tailored to each individual student. Everyone can do Iyengar Yoga, regardless of age or level of fitness. Iyengar yoga is adaptable to individual needs. A beginner yoga student is typically introduced to standing poses dynamically as the foundation of their practice. As the learning progresses, the student gradually develops confidence and stability in their body, ensuring a safe and balanced approach to more advanced poses. Ultimately, one experiences the benefits of yoga from the very first class.
– Physical and mental health
Iyengar® Yoga is a practice that promotes health for the body and mind. Your teacher will help you practice according to your needs, allowing you to find stability, strength, serenity, and balance. The practice will be beneficial for your sports performance, work, study, and daily challenges.
– Quality of teaching at Zagyoga
At Zagyoga, you will find only professional teachers who are certified, with extensive experience and ongoing internationally recognized training.
– Type of classes in our yoga studio
We run daily classes for beginners to more experienced practitioners in our Sheffield yoga studio. We also cater to those students looking to keep moving with a slower-paced weekly class. See ‘Classes .
At Zagyoga we believe that everyone benefits from the practice of ‘Iyengar Yoga’ not only you but also the people around you.
– Our aim
Our aim is that the power of yoga reaches as many people as possible and becomes part of their lives. We do not want to be the biggest yoga studio, but to be the best known for relationships. We strive to create a community, not competition around yoga, and through this, help to transform lives.
