The studio etiquette is the guidelines to make the most of your class.
- Please refrain from attending your class if you have a cold or feel unwell.
- Sanitise your hands when entering the studio, as well as after blowing your nose or sneezing.
- Be on time. In case you’re late – please wait outside until the initial silence is over.
- Mobile phones should be kept in silent mode.
- We recommend you do not eat for an hour or two before class (if you are running low on energy, a single piece of fruit 30 minutes before class is fine).
- Please wear your shoes when using the bathroom.
- Iyengar yoga is practised barefoot. The best is; t-shirt with shorts or leggings.
- Zagyoga studio provides you with mats and all the props needed for your class.
- Cleanliness is part of the studio etiquette. Bodily odours and perfumes may put your fellow students off!
- Please make sure you fill in the Confidential health form.
- Inform your teacher of any changes in your physical limitations, health concerns, or if you are menstruating before the class starts.
- This is not your run-of-the-mill yoga class!
